It’s always hard to know what to bring in your carry-on when traveling because you don’t want to overdo it. I usually bring the smallest bag or suitcase that I have as a carry-on because I hate having too much with me on the airplane. The more stuff I bring, the more stressed I get. Besides bringing my passport, card and all insurance papers, there are some products and things that I cannot do without on a flight. These include sheet masks (yes, I am one of those who without embarrassment and hesitation put on a sheet mask, while the flight attendant looks at me and laughs), eye patches, hydrating mist, lip balms, hand and body lotion and of course a good book or a magazine.
There are several sheet masks on the market, and believe me, I have tried a lot of them. My favorite is the Lancome Genefique Hydrogel Melting Mask (if you haven’t tried the serum from this series you really should give it a go). I love how hydrated and glowing my skin looks after using this sheet mask. On the other hand, if you are one of those that are terrified of wearing a sheet mask in public, I can recommend using eye patches. My favorites are from Patchology. Patchology has a variety of eyepatches depending on your needs. My favorites for traveling are Illuminating Eye Gels and Flash patch 5 Minute.
Further, I also love Hydrating mists, and this is really a must for me. There’s nothing like the feeling of spending several hours on a flight, and feeling like your skin is crumbling. My favorite hydrating mists are; Tata Harpers Hydrating Essence. The Hydrating Essence is a lush spray that smells good and also hydrates the skin, and you can also use it over your makeup. The other hydrating mist that I am addicted to is Avènes Eau Thermale. Eau Thermale is thermal spring water that feels like magic on your skin. It soothes the skin and is perfect whenever my face needs a pick-me-up. Another must in my carry-on is lip balms. I always bring plenty, because I tend to always lose one whenever I’m traveling. My favorites are Kiehl’s Butterstick Lip Treatment, Sisley´s Nutritive Lip Balm, and Le Labo’s Lip Balm. The Butterstick Lip Treatment from Kiehl’s is a new product this spring and it comes in a variety of colors. What I love about this news from Kiehl’s is that it gives my lips an intense amount of hydration and the color is almost transparent, but you can also build it up for full coverage.
